Christian Morgan, MA, LMFT
Therapist and Founder
Christian has a passion for people’s stories. She has experience in creating an inviting environment with individuals, couples, families and groups in order to have a space to journey with her client as they construct hope. In her person-centered approach to therapy, she works to construct a relationship of respect, empathy and safety. She has had success working with a variety of issues including adjustment reactions including grief, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and substance abuse.
During her own journey, Christian earned two degrees from Oral Roberts University in Psychology and Marital and Family Therapy. She went on to earn her License in Marital and Family Therapy (LMFT). She has been a counselor for over 5 years and has worked in the community mental health, inpatient and small practice settings. As an LMFT, she has had special training and experience in working with couples and families. She is a facilitator for the Prepare/Enrich© couples assessment to assist premarital and married couples in identifying their strength and growth areas in order to build stronger relationships.
Christian’s story has led her to specialize in helping people heal after loss. She previously worked at The Grief Center in Tulsa, OK where she counseled individuals, families and groups who experienced a loss. She is currently working toward becoming certified in Thanatology (death, dying and bereavement).
It is Christian’s desire that everyone that enters the doors of Stories of Hope knows that their story is valued and important. She believes that it is an honor when people allow her to hear their stories.
